CONFLUX seeks to uncover the textures and rhythms which construct and shape our coastal landscapes by creating an evocative portrait of Beachy Head. Time lapse techniques were used to capture these unique images and location sound.
One Autumn evening, night traffic & traffic light sequences - as reflected in a metal signpost - were captured on film. Over subsequent evenings, environmental recordings were collected in the same location. Through playful montage & layering, Stop:Go explores rhythm & occurrence in everyday life.
